Azimut 58 brought a revolution to interiors: in a yacht just over 15 metres, Righini shifted the owner’s cabin to the stern, as in vessels of greater tonnage. Two double rooms and a double guests’ cabin took the place of two guests’ cabins with separate beds. And there were now three bathrooms in place of two. This layout was taken up in later yachts and was widely copied by competitors.
A few years later, the 62S introduced the original sliding bed: a double bed that can be transformed into two singles.
